These Are A Few of My Favorite Things

Picture
Midway through November and all throughout the month of December, I really do go all out for Christmas. I rearrange my room to make if feel more Christmas-y, I purchase the presents to gift my family, friends, and loved ones, and my Christmas kick-off would not be complete without a onsie, a cup of hot chocolate, Christmas Carols in rotation, and Christmas Movies!!! My television stays between Hallmark Channel, Lifetime, and my family's extensive movie collection around this time of the year especially.  In Christmases past, we all sat by the fireside cozy and warm and would binge watch on all of our favorite holiday movies.

Here are my Top 5 Christmas Movies:

  1. Preacher's Wife- Denzel Washington and Whitney Houston enough said. This is such a classic film and a staple in my household for sure (we have 3 copies of it in the house, lol)
  2. White Christmas- the music, the costumes, the dry, witty humor, and the story line, I mean, what's not to love right?
  3. The Holiday - I love the storyline of this film. It's funny, sweet and just a feel good movie for the holiday, plus I have an affinity for London
  4. Houseguest/Jingle All The Way - I couldn't choose between these two because my favorite comedian, Sinbad stars in both of them and to me he really makes these films. His comedic timing and improv are so clever and have me in stiches from laughing!
  5. How the Grinch Stole Christmas - the modernized version of this classic film with Jim Carey has become a family favorite. At this point my younger sister and I can quote close to the whole movie by heart. The humor that Carey brings to the big screen is what keeps us coming back year after year

What are your favorite Christmas Movies?
